Hand forged hammered 3/8" solid square pull

This hand forged iron pull would compliment a variety of styles and projects. They are hand hammered on all four corners to give them texture and character. They are made out of 3/8” solid square steel. They are more elegant and graceful than our 1/2” solid steel pulls but, they still make a grand statement.

Finish:
We clean each piece with a wire wheel. We do not remove all of the scale off of the pieces. This keeps the authentic hand forged look on each piece.

The matte clear coat let’s the natural color of the steel come through. It is a gray/silver tone.
This finish requires no maintenance and is suitable for interior applications.

The flat black is a high quality paint. This finish does not hide the hammered forging in each piece. It is very consistent in color throughout the piece. It also is a true black. This finish requires no maintenance and is suitable for interior or exterior applications.

The oil Blackened finish is a traditional blacksmith finish that has been used for hundreds of years. It is a combination of linseed oil and beeswax mixed together. Each piece is heated up in the forge to approximately 500 degrees. Then it is submerged in the linseed oil and beeswax. This process allows the finish to penetrate the steel and make a very nice water resistant finish. Once the piece is buffed out it leaves a beautiful blackened satin sheen. This finish is suitable for interior applications only and, will require maintenance over time. A simple paste wax can be applied as needed over the years to maintain. If you want a true traditional blacksmith finish then this is the one for you.

Dimensions:
These pulls are made from 3/8” by 3/8” solid steel. There is 1” of clearance for fingers. It protrudes 1-3/8”. The lengths listed are the distance between screw centers.

Due to the hand made process there are slight measurement variations. For example: a 4” pull might be 4-5/16" to 4-7/16" long overall. Typically the variance on this pull is not more than 1/8”.

Knobs:
The 1" knobs are made out of 5/8" square solid stock.
The 1-1/4" knobs are made out of 5/8" square solid stock.
The 1-1/2" knobs are made out of 3/4" square solid stock.
The 2" knobs are made out of 1" square solid stock.

This listing is for one pull only. It comes with 2 mounting screws that are 1” long. If you need different length of screws just let me know.

Hammer marks, dings, and scale are all a normal part of each piece.
