Hand Forged Hammered Iron Cabinet knob

This hand forged iron knob would compliment a variety of styles and projects. They are hand hammered to give them texture and character. These knobs will bring your cabinets or furniture to the next level.

Finish:
We clean each piece with a wire wheel. We do not remove all of the scale off of the pieces. This keeps the authentic hand forged look on each piece.

The matte clear coat let’s the natural color of the steel come through. It is a gray/silver tone.
This finish requires no maintenance and is suitable for interior applications.

The flat black is a high quality paint. This finish does not hide the hammered forging in each piece. It is very consistent in color throughout the piece. It also is a true black. This finish requires no maintenance and is suitable for interior or exterior applications.

The oil Blackened finish is a traditional blacksmith finish that has been used for hundreds of years. It is a combination of linseed oil and beeswax mixed together. Each piece is heated up in the forge to approximately 500 degrees. Then it is submerged in the linseed oil and beeswax. This process allows the finish to penetrate the steel and make a very nice water resistant finish. Once the piece is buffed out it leaves a beautiful blackened satin sheen. This finish is suitable for interior applications only and, will require maintenance over time. A simple paste wax can be applied as needed over the years to maintain. If you want a true traditional blacksmith finish then this is the one for you.

Dimensions:
The 1" knobs are made out of 5/8" square solid stock.
The 1-1/4" knobs are made out of 5/8" square solid stock.
The 1-1/2" knobs are made out of 3/4" square solid stock.
The 2" knobs are made out of 1" square solid stock.

Due to the hand made process there are slight measurement variations. Hammer marks, dings, and scale are all a normal part of each piece.

This listing is for one knob only. It comes with 1 mounting screw that is 1” long. If you need different length of screws just let me know.
